The Financial Engagement Analyst is a client-facing role and serves as a critical member of the engagement team and as a subject matter expert and a consultant, providing valuable and actionable insights and guidance that assist clients in making critical decisions. Successful candidates will be responsible for performing thorough analysis and processing of client financial information, asset inventories, supplier RFx response data, baseline financials, business cases and other statistical output. Projects span networking and mobility, software, hardware, IT infrastructure (cloud, data centers), managed services and other technology domains.

Additional details:

• Create financial models and business case scenarios based on client requirements
• Work in close association Yates and client IT, accounting, and finance departments to collect project data to prepare, recommend, and predict future financial planning and operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, develop and report on key financial metrics, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Build client baseline financials and asset inventories utilizing client and supplier billing, invoicing, electronic portals other media
• Research, analyze, and interpret financial data and information; coordinate, compile, and present the results
• Perform effective financial reporting and develop business process and standards that are in compliance with industry best practice policies, procedures, and standards
• Provide comparative analysis and reconciliation of client contracts to billing and invoicing
• Participate in virtual and on-site client and Yates Ltd meetings and conference calls

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration)
• MBA preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in similar analytical and consulting roles addressing IT and technology domains within large, complex global organizations is preferred
• Working knowledge of complex financial concepts and models
• Working knowledge of at least one IT domain (network, software, other)
• Expert in the use of Excel and other data analytics tools
• Extreme attention to detail – both tactical and strategic (thinking through interdependencies, outcomes, implications)
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Adept in observing and reporting on client behaviors and nuances that may influence project results
• Ability to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for remediation
• Self-motivated, independent and able to successfully work from home or remotely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience completing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Strong organizational follow-through and time management skills
• Able to set priorities and multi-task while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines and working within daily time constraints
