Every spring, a group of extraordinary C-level executives comes together for the Spark Executive Forum’s annual Napa session. Spark provides two days of in-depth discussions about enterprise business and technology trends combined with opportunities for personal and career development. Each Spark session is underpinned by a broader theme that emerges from the agenda the Yates team creates in collaboration with our attendees. In 2022, the theme was enabling and creating business value through technology and self-funded transformation.
For this year’s session, our theme centered on five topics that will drive the next generation of change and opportunity in the enterprise: generative AI, data, cloud, sustainability, and personal transformation. These areas are strongly interconnected on a business level, but they also share very human – and in some cases existential – attributes and dependencies. By recognizing the intrinsic human qualities and dependencies that underpin these topics, executives can harness their full potential to drive change, seize opportunities, and create a stronger future for their organizations and society at large.
We've got a lot to say about all this, so we've broken up our takeaways into a five-part series, beginning with the one that has captured just about everyone's imagination over the last several months: artificial intelligence.
Part 1: The Generative Generation
Part 2: The Great Cloud Reckoning
